Mosmans is a happy and relaxed working environment and this is what the team hopes to convey to guests.
The staff prides itself on friendly service and every member of the team is proud of where they work.
Jacie Cowling, Venue Manager
Jacie Cowling is the venue manager and has lived in Perth for some 15 years. She studied Marine Science at University, so at least gets to work on the water, albeit it in quite a different guise.
Jacie has worked in hospitality for more than ten years including time overseas at the Trafalgar Square Hotel in London. She is also a wedding professional and personally oversees this side of the restaurant.
Brad Hatfield, Executive Chef
Born and bred in Queensland, Brad's travels have taken him as far as Europe, Singapore, Melbourne, Brisbane and even Ayres Rock before finally settling in Perth. Brad describes his cooking style as classic with a modern twist. Culinary influences originally came in the form of Antoine Mossiman, however today he is influenced by Charlie Trotter, Thomas Keller and the new breed of chefs from Spain. Brad believes in having a strong team around him.
Brett Benjamin, Head Chef
Brett was born in Perth and is proud to call the city home. He has had 16 years experience working in restaurants and hotels all over the world including a two year stint in a hotel in Sydney providing the catering for the athletes and press during the Olympic Games.
Unusually for a chef, Brett is laid back and easy-going and very pleased to be at the helm of the new Mosmans.
Michael Marchesani, Floor Manager
Michael left his job in the banking finance industry to pursue a more exciting career in hospitality. Some could say Michael is part of the furniture here at Mosmans, having worked at the venue since 1999. He's certainly seen it all. Michael can also speak fluent Italian.
Megan Whitney, Floor Manager
Brought up in Queensland, Megan has worked in hospitality for four years - the last 12 months of which here at Mosmans. Megan studied Marine Tourism and worked on Fraser Island when first leaving school. She moved to Perth from Queensland three years ago and enjoys the laid back style that Perth has to offer.
