Mosmans is a happy and relaxed working environment and this is what the team hopes to convey to guests.
The staff prides itself on friendly service and every member of the team is proud of where they work.
Jacie Cowling, Events, Sales & Marketing
Jacie has lived in Perth for some 15 years. She studied Marine Science at University, so at least gets to work on the water, albeit it in quite a different guise.
Jacie has worked in hospitality for more than ten years including time overseas at the Trafalgar Square Hotel in London. She is also a wedding professional and personally oversees this side of the restaurant.
Scott Darlow, Head Chef
At the age of 15 Scott moved from Australia to Gran Canarias in the Canary Islands to begin his apprenticeship. On completing his apprenticeship he worked in a Michelin starred restaurant in Wales. He then travelled around England working in small exclusive country house hotels. Tiring of the cold weather he moved to Normandy in France where he spent two years working as head chef in an exclusive high end boutique hotel. He then returned to Australia and worked at Il Lido in Cottesloe and from there was appointed head chef at Duende. Mosmans was lucky to snap him up as Sous Chef. He is now our Head Chef.
Michael Marchesani, Floor Manager
Michael left his job in the banking finance industry to pursue a more exciting career in hospitality. Some could say Michael is part of the furniture here at Mosmans, having worked at the venue since 1999. He's certainly seen it all. Michael can also speak fluent Italian.
Megan Witney, Restaurant Manager
Brought up in Queensland, Megan has worked in hospitality for four years - the last 12 months of which here at Mosmans. Megan studied Marine Tourism and worked on Fraser Island when first leaving school. She moved to Perth from Queensland three years ago and enjoys the laid back style that Perth has to offer.
Berta Brunet, Sales and Events Coordinator
Berta was born in Spain and has lived and studied in many different countries. She speaks fluent Spanish and Catalan and although she has a degree in psychology, she found her true passion in hospitality.
